How to remove OneDrive from File Explorer on Windows 10

  1. Use the Windows key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run command.
  2. Type regedit, and click OK to open the registry.
  3. Browse the following path:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}
  4. Select the {018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6} key, and on the right side, double-click the System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree.
  5. Change the DWORD value from 1 to 0.
  6. Close the Registry to complete the task.
  7. Once you completed the steps, close and reopen File Explorer, and you should no longer see the OneDrive entry on the left pane. If you don't see the change, try restarting your PC.
